What is an EasyPress machine?

A Cricut EasyPress is the home manufacturer’s answer to a heat press. While the Easy Press uses the same concept as a hot press, its compact design makes it perfect for craftsmen like us who simply don’t have room for a large hot press. The Easy Press combines the lightness of an iron with the even heating of a conventional heat press. And that means it’s perfect for crafting.

The Easy Press has a host of great features that make it better than an iron for all of your iron projects, such as:

  • Uniform heating over the entire surface
  • Compact design for easy storage
  • Precise temperature settings for each type of material

An Easy-Press has several control settings that allow you to adjust the heat on the surface of the iron and the time that you press the heat onto your material. These buttons are used to control the Easy Press when you use it for various craft projects:

  • Temp. Use the Temp button to change the temperature of the Easy Press. Use the + and – buttons to increase or decrease the temperature setting.
  • Timer. Press the timer to change the time the machine counts down for each project. After pressing the timer button, use the + and – buttons to increase or decrease the duration of the timer.
  • Countdown. When you’re ready to heat your project, hit the countdown button to start counting down the time set on your timer. The timer will beep when the countdown reaches zero. The countdown button looks like a small C. If the countdown button is orange, Easy Press is still heating. And when the button is green, Easy Press is ready to use.
