First things first, if you are overwhelmed with your laundry, you need a plan for it. Use this simple worksheet to chart your week and laundry intentions. When you perform the “Clean Mom” routine, you know laundry is a daily chore. I find that I take a load from the washing machine to fold it up and put it away every day. Saturday is the day of bed linen and towels – on this day we wash bed linen and bath towels. At the end of Saturday, I quickly load the towels and then the washing cycle cleaning cycle.
Our laundry schedule – easily followed, but it is helpful! We have five in our family, so everyone gets a “wash day”, starting with my husband on Monday, me on Tuesday, our eldest on Wednesday, our middle child on Thursday, our youngest child on Friday and bed linen and towels on Saturday. This gives us a framework and purpose for what to wash and when to wash.
Get this free printable version and create a schedule for your laundry. Do you wash daily Any other day? Weekly? Plan it out and find that not every week goes perfectly, but at least you have a plan for your laundry. It makes a big difference!
