I came across some fun finds this week, from a built-in bookcase from The Inspired Room to two helpful foodie finds from Pioneer Woman and Cup of Jo. I also share my free September cleaning calendar to help you start the month on the right foot.

While preparing dinner last week, I found I had run out of chicken broth for a recipe and didn’t have time to run to the grocery store. A quick search and turn up of these suggestions from Pioneer Woman. Crisis averted!

We have a large evening salad on average once a week. It’s a great way to eat more vegetables and use the rest in the fridge. We also like to grill extra chicken in anticipation of a salad later in the week. These homemade salad dressings from Cup of Jo turn an ordinary salad into something special.
