Father’s Day Gift Guide 2021 [15 Items For Your Favorite Guy!]

Over the years I have learned that some people are great gift givers and others lack that ability. I fall into the latter group. Trust me, it has nothing to do with not caring about it or wanting to make people feel special! It’s just not my forte. Gift guides are my best friend when special occasions arise. So I’ve put together this gift guide (with the help of some of the favorite men in my life) to help you all find the perfect Father’s Day gift.

Classic for Father’s Day

1. Ugg Scuff Slipper

For fathers who spend long days of hard work, there is no better Father’s Day gift than a comfortable pair of slippers. Ugg makes the absolute best slippers out there, and I can’t deny that I wear my own pair around the house more often than I’d like to admit. The Ugg Scuff slippers have real wool lining, which makes them super cozy and ideal for every cold day.

2. Cotton Henley

Every man needs a comfortable shirt that is versatile enough, from garden grills to casual office days. Patagonia is one of my husband’s all-time favorite brands and he says these henleys are the softest ever. They are also great for layering under vests or jackets.

3. Indoor / outdoor basketball

If your dad is always in the mood for a little hoop game in your yard or neighborhood park, he’ll appreciate a nice new basketball. We chose this product because it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It’s a recreation of the NCAA game ball and rolls right from your fingertips with every shot. Give him some of your time with basketball and go to the court together!

4. Tile Mate and Tile Slim Kit

Maybe it’s just a bad stereotype, but every dad I know loses things every day. Mostly it is keys and wallets. With the introduction of Tile into our lives, our days went a lot smoother. If you haven’t heard about it, it’s a bluetooth device that slides in or connects to whatever you don’t want to lose. You connect it to your phone and if something is lost you can have it ring or pull up a map to make it easier to find.

I even had a friend who linked it to her beloved Hydroflask, which she misplaced frequently so the possibilities are endless!

5. Nespresso VertuoPlus Titan Deluxe

Some coffee machines really change your life, this is one of them. Even if your father is a regular Starbucks customer, he will appreciate this coffee maker and maybe even change his behavior. It can make 4 different cup sizes and starts making your coffee with the push of a button. The end result is a full-bodied coffee with a naturally shaped crema. Giving this away will make you sound like the resident coffee expert!

6. Daniel Wellington Classic Cambridge clock

Don’t get your dad a regular old watch for Father’s Day. Get him the Daniel Wellington Classic Cambridge Watch. It has all of the classic yet subtly cool vibes. The watch strap can also be easily exchanged for other looks, which makes this watch very versatile. It’s waterproof and comes with a two-year warranty.

7. Phone camera lens kit

Every father wants to capture all of his child’s special moments. Start new dads on the right foot on this Father’s Day with a phone camera lens set. It comes with a fisheye lens, a macro lens, and a wide angle lens, all of which can be easily clipped onto almost any smartphone. These lenses are made from industrial grade aluminum so you can get great shots without blurring.

8. Fridababy Baby Basics Kit

Every dad should be a practical dad and this is the perfect kit to help them do that! Fridababy makes products that make daily parenting tasks a little easier. This kit contains nail clippers, a bath brush, the notorious Windi for accelerating and the snot sucker. All of these things will help you have a healthier, happier baby.

9. Gaiam Restore Total Body Massage Roller

Starting parenting can be difficult, I don’t think either of us will deny it. On this Father’s Day, give the new father in your life relief with a massage roller so that they can untie all knots and kinks. It is made to massage the muscles on your arms, legs and back. It’s super easy to use and even comes with an exercise guide.

10. Free to grow Tula baby carrier

This is my favorite new dad gift. The Free to Grow Tula baby carrier is available in so many great patterns that even fathers will feel comfortable playing sports. Plus, they’re convenient to carry and can be used to carry your little one from newborn to toddler years. Check out our baby carrier review here to see all of the other favorites!

For the cool dad

11. Margarita glasses by the pool

Every “cool father” has to learn to conjure up some good cocktails for his friends. Encourage him to do so with these awesome margarita glasses by the pool. These are shatterproof and dishwasher safe so your father can use them over and over again. I think it’s great that they are made of thick plastic and still feel authentic. To make this the perfect gift, pair it with some tequila (we’ve listed one of our favorites below!) Or a mixology book.

12. Casamigos Blanco Tequila

Like I said, every cool dad knows how to mix a good drink. After all, that’s probably why it became the party’s life. Casamigos is Goerge Clooney’s own tequila, but I think it’s more likely its popularity because it’s so tasty! With its fresh, clean taste, it’s the perfect addition to your father’s bar cart. Make sure you have a drink together on this Father’s Day!

13. LL Bean Cotton Baseball Hat

LL Bean is only certified as cool. I love this classic hat that exudes a cool, natural feel. Also, a hat is a much better gift than a button or tie. This hat is soft and broken with the classic logo on the front. It’s available in khaki, red, or blue so you can find the right look for your dad.

14. Herschel Sutton Duffle

This travel bag is so elegant that I might be able to get one myself! In addition, it is made of high quality material for a long lifespan and is spacious on the inside while still feeling compact when carried. It has a regular top handle and side side handles so you can carry it in any most convenient way possible. If you love this bag, you should also take a look at the other accessories from Herschel, such as the travel set. Your dad will surely love to take this cool bag with him on his next big adventure.

15. Daneson scotch infused toothpicks

If your father seems to have a toothpick out of the corner of his mouth all the time, then you need to step up his game with these fancy toothpicks. I know this will be part of my dad’s gift this year! A few words from Daneson about it; “The generously sized picks made from sustainably forested wood are soaked in premium scotch and then dried in the oven, with the flavors infused throughout the pimple.” They are the perfect gift for Scotch lovers!
