Started
The first time you download the children’s baby name app, you will be prompted to enter your baby’s future “last name”. After that, you can invite your significant other to join in so they can find names that both of you like. I really enjoyed this feature because it keeps you both on the same page as you come up with a name.
User friendly process
As soon as you’ve signed up and invited your partner, you’ll immediately see a name that you can swipe right to to read “Sounds good!” or “Nope”, which is then recorded in a “Like” or “Likes” list for your partner to review.
There is also a “Matches” section under the Likes and Dislikes section so both you and your partner can see which names you both like and narrow down your list.

With this baby name app, you can also customize your search using the child name filter. From options to choose your gender, to names that start with a specific letter and maximum length, customization in this app makes it so easy to find the name you and your family love and agree on !
Another great feature this app has is the ability to add a name you personally found to the list for you and your partner to review. This app really allows you to create a “home base” for you and your partner to choose your child’s future name.
Premium extras
Children also have the option to purchase and explore additional name sets if you can’t find one in the app’s offers. As I scrolled through this section, I noticed that there are options to buy Spanish name sets, Thai, Chinese, Hawaiian and EVEN Mythology, Pokémon and Lord of the Rings!

So what am I really thinking? Kids is another amazing app to add to your phone while you are pregnant. It takes the daunting task of choosing your baby’s future name and makes it super fun and enjoyable. Personally, I wish I had this app while I was pregnant, not only would it have saved me the money I spent on baby name books, but it would have been a fun activity for my husband as well. Kids is free, fun, and really a great tool for choosing your baby’s name. two thumbs up!
