I love fresh beets and I’ve finally found a safe recipe that will blow my friends away.
They’re cute, just like candy, and I can serve this dish with any meal.
- 5-10 multicolored fresh beets (cans DO NOT work)
- 1/2 cup olive oil and balsamic vinegar (mixed)
- salt and pepper
Cut off the stalks from the onions. Peel and cut the onions in halves or quarters depending on the size of your beets.
Use a small baking dish so the beets touch, almost full (I use a meatbread bowl). Toss the beets with 1/2 cup of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake at 350 ° C for about 1 hour until soft.
