School can be a scary time, especially when a new transition is taking place in your child’s life.

Send your child something that feels like home to help them with their new transition. For example, you can add puffy paint to your lunch box, cover your folders with glitter, or make some cute sandwich bags.

I love sending my kids some meal notes that I put in their lunch box. Every day I write them a special message, including messages telling them I am thinking of them or words of encouragement.
